About the Images
here...
The
images here on-line are the most recent digital images I have of my
collection. The time line of the images of two oldest paintings, as
well as all the paintings in the galleries, are noted in the black type
embedded in the image. New updates to all the galleries will posted as
soon as they are available. Not all of the color or details are that
apparent in these copies of my work. I will invest in a better camera
in the future and offer a fresh look at all the images.
In
reviewing my digital images for this site, I discovered many older
versions of paintings, of which I'm continuing to work. I chose to
create a page that shows that process of creation and recreation with a
odd protest piece called “Stop Slut.” This painting is about a leather
bar in Seattle called “The Cuff.” I show three different versions of
the painting, from the current view of May, 2007 through an earlier
version from October, 2002. The element of protest is over this
tendency for men to whore with one another in their quest for “Mr.
Right Now!”
