I am a multi-talented artist with many projects in the works all the time. My love of nature, gardening and
the great outdoors has led me to live in the Pacific Northwest most of my life. I lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 28 years. Most of my years in the NW were Portland, Oregon with about six years in Seattle and
parts of rural Washington state. I've spent seven years on the East Coast but I'm now based in Denver since late 2008 and have spent some extended time in Chicago this past fall and winter helping my brother, Pedro Bell.
Who am I?? A
creative hermit. I love my company, but I cherish creative, intelligent, playful human to human contact. I love music and
love to dance.
I paint, draw, illustrate, practice astrology, tarot and Buddhism, I garden, sing, read. I design. construct
and dye clothing.
I share the path of an artist with my already famous older brother, Pedro Bell,
aka Captain McDraw, Sir Lleb, of Funkadelic and Parliament fame. During the 70's through early 90's Pedro designed
the albums for this P-funk era and help put funk on the world map and in the dictionary. In his own words: "When people
ask me about my art I tell them that I’m an operational crazoid - my own terminology for a multimedia conceptualist.
Because my graphic work is so narrative and my written work is so graphic I don’t make a distinction between writer
and artist..." more about him can be found at:
